1. About these Terms

These Terms cover your use of the Doseline iPhone app, its chat assistant Doseline AI, and Doseline Plus. “Doseline”, “we” and “us” mean the developer of Doseline. By downloading or using Doseline you agree to these Terms.

Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”) also applies to the app. These Terms add to it; if they conflict about your licence to use the app, the Standard EULA applies. Our Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.

Not medical advice

Doseline is a reminder and organisation tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice. It doesn’t tell you what to take, check interactions, or judge side effects or symptoms.

Doseline AI and text recognition can get things wrong. They can misread a prescription, label or message, including medicine names, strengths, amounts, times and course length. Check every medicine against your prescription or the label before you save it, and after any change.
Your prescription, the label, and your doctor or pharmacist come first. If Doseline shows something different, follow them. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about any question about your medicines.
Reminders depend on your iPhone. They can be late or missing if notifications are off, Focus or Silent mode is on, the iPhone is off or out of battery, the time or time zone changes, or iOS limits them. Don’t rely on Doseline as the only way to remember a medicine that is critical for you.
In an emergency or a possible overdose, call your local emergency number right away (115 in Vietnam, 911 in the US).

2. Doseline AI

Doseline AI uses AI models from third-party providers (see the Privacy Policy). Its answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. It only suggests: new prescriptions and changes appear as cards, and nothing is saved or changed until you tap. You are responsible for checking what you save. Doseline AI needs an internet connection and may sometimes be unavailable or busy.

Doseline AI has usage limits. On Free: 15 messages and 3 prescription photos per calendar month. On Plus: fair use, currently up to 3,000 messages and 100 photos a month. All plans also have short-term rate limits to prevent abuse. We may change the AI models we use and adjust these limits; we will show the current limits in the app.

3. Who can use Doseline

You must be old enough to agree to these Terms where you live (usually 18), or use Doseline with the permission of a parent or guardian who agrees to them for you. If you track medicines for someone else, such as a parent or child, you confirm that you are allowed to manage their information and will keep it private.

4. Free and Plus

Free includes up to 2 active prescriptions, reminders and follow-ups, full history and CSV export, and Doseline AI with the monthly allowance above. Reminders and logging for prescriptions you already have keep working on Free.

Doseline Plus adds unlimited prescriptions, tracking medicines for the people you care for, Doseline AI under fair use, and a PDF report for your doctor. Plus is sold through the App Store in three options (US prices; the App Store shows your local price, including any taxes, before you buy):

Plus Yearly: US$29.99 a year, auto-renewing. Includes a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
Plus Weekly: US$3.99 a week, auto-renewing. No free trial.
Plus Lifetime: US$79.99, one-time purchase. Doesn’t renew. Doseline AI fair-use limits apply.

Subscriptions and free trial

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
If you start the free trial and don’t cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the yearly subscription starts and you are charged. The app will try to remind you the day before the trial ends if notifications are on, but cancelling in time is your responsibility.
Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If the price of a subscription changes, Apple tells you in advance and asks for your consent where required.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds ourselves.
Plus is tied to the Apple Account that bought it and isn’t shared through Family Sharing. Use “Restore” in the app to unlock Plus again with the same Apple Account.

“Lifetime” means Plus stays unlocked for your Apple Account for as long as we offer Doseline. It is not a promise that a particular AI model or feature will always be available.

5. Acceptable use

Please don’t:

call the Doseline API outside the app, extract or reuse the app’s key, or try to get around usage limits;
overload, disrupt, probe or reverse engineer the app or our servers, except where the law allows it;
use Doseline AI for things unrelated to managing medicines, or to create unlawful, harmful or abusive content;
enter someone else’s health information without their permission.

We may limit or stop Doseline AI for an install that breaks these rules.

6. Your information and content

Your data stays yours. You let us process what you send to Doseline AI only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You may use Doseline AI’s answers for your own purposes; they are provided as they are, without any guarantee of accuracy.

7. Third-party services

Doseline relies on Apple, Cloudflare, OpenRouter and AI model providers, and RevenueCat. Their services have their own terms, and we don’t control their availability.

8. Changes

We may add, change or remove features, and change or pause Doseline AI. We may update these Terms; we will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for important changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Doseline after the new Terms take effect, you accept them.

9. Ownership

The Doseline app, name and logo belong to us. The app is licensed to you, not sold.

10. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, Doseline and Doseline AI are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that they are accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for harm caused by relying on Doseline instead of your prescription, label, doctor or pharmacist, by details you saved without checking, or by late or missed reminders. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid for Doseline in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

12. Ending

You can stop using Doseline at any time by deleting the app; cancel any subscription separately in your Apple Account. We may stop providing Doseline AI to you if you break these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. Disputes go to the competent courts of Vietnam, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.

14. App Store terms

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Doseline or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Doseline.
If Doseline fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Doseline.
We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims about Doseline, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and claims that Doseline infringes someone’s intellectual property.
You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
